Originally, she's from the planet Earth. Since she left, her home has been whatever city she happens to be in.

Physical Description

Hair
She has a full head of light-brown, curly locks that fall past her shoulder. When on a job, she ties it close to her head; otherwise she doesn't bother with it.
Eyes
Her yellowish, slitted eyes are a little too large to be human, more snake- or dragon-like.
Physique
Shalazan is rather tall and muscular for a woman, betraying her reptilian heritage. She is not particularly manly, but neither does he ooze "femininity." Instead, while her features, such as a narrow, slightly rounded face and more proportionately narrow hands make her gender unmistakable, her expression and posture warn onlookers that she is a predator.
Appearance
She has no human or animal form, and so at any time appears human at first glance, but upon a closer look, small oddities in both her appearance and movements suggest otherwise. Her skin is covered with tiny scales, marked with a light brown striping down her back, which looks like an odd suntan. She has a long thick tail, but hides it under her trench coat. Also hidden in her trench coat are a dirk, four throwing knives, and two guns that use particle-beam technology. All one sees is the laser…if they're lucky. She has clawed hands and feet, but the toes are kept trimmed so she can wear boots. She can pass off as human or taratus easily.
Dress
Shalazan generally wears dark colors that blend in well with the night. Not necessarily black however, but more commonly green, brown, and blue. As mentioned above, she wears a trenchcoat to hide her artillery, and when required, her tail as well. Ideally, Shalazan would like to go barefoot, but would only do so in areas where her tracks would be unreadable, such as in a swamp or in the sand. Otherwise, her unique footprints would be easy to identify as her own.

Personality

Additude
She's quick, agile, strong, clever, and angry at the whole damned world. Deep down, she yearns to meet that someone who can prove her outlook on life wrong, that there are good people that care, that there is a place for her, other than as a hand of death. She would rather die than admit it however, or kill the person who would dare tell her so.
Hobbies
She loves to kill, and especially to inflict suffering upon anyone that stands in her way. To Shalazan, this is a hobby, and people that disagree are beyond her understanding.

Family

Never.
Parents
Both deceased. Her father was a raptor-type shifter (the science available at that time and place was not specific enough to prove which dinosaurs he was decended from), her mother a full-blooded human. Both parents were scientists working at the same complex that produced the Clan Taratus and others. Her hatred of her parents for bringing her into the world as a freak, neither human nor anything else, lead her to murder them. They were her first kills, the first of many.
Siblings
None (she saw to that).
Pet

The black "evil flit" named Scarab was probably the first born to the Dragon Thieves' Guild, or he would like everyone to think so. His rival, the silvery Unicorn's-Blood, is the only other male flit he considers a threat. Non-metallics are pitiful creatures to be crushed, should they step out of line. He will not hesitate to devour such usurpers. He is very protective of Shalazan, and any female dragonfly. He would take on a pureblood hydra if she so desired, and die screaming a gleeful battle cry in her honor.
