This is Kovphaleiryth (a baby picture *grins*), MeLi's Danachian dragon! Hatched at the Braethas Raug in its second group of hatchlings, Kovphaleiryth's parents are Latoteyth and Stirdalath. She is an Iridescent Sunset-Rainbow Starry; starry's are known for their shimmering gold-colored hide and large stature. Which is a very good thing since MeLi can use all the help she can get managing The Barn and her sisters. You never know when a large tiger or a pack of foozets might leap out of the shadows!

° Physical Description °

° Eyes
Kovpha's are the ever-popular rainbow-faceted eye, common to P*rn, Ryslen, Danach, and other worlds. Each color represents an emotion; for example, greens and blues indicate happiness and contentment, violets and greys sadness and grief. The facets are insect-like, providing a keen sight few of us can even imagine. You can't really keep anything hidden from Kovphaleiryth.
° Physique
Starry's are some of the largest dragons out there, towering over even the largest browns. Few bronzes, and other species of dragons, even come close. MeLi by comparison would stand shorter than Kovpha's own eye. How she manages not to squash any small critters, such as Grendel and Kolo for example, are all a matter of her lithe body and quick reflexes. While she is nowhere near as agile as a green (nor is a green anywhere as agile as say, an eagle), she is, for her size however, very much so.
° Appearance
By definition, Kovphaleiryth is golden. As in metallic yellow. However, she is also an Iridescent thanks to both parents, which gives her a lovely whitish sheen as well. The scales in front, from the throat past the belly to the base of the tail are rainbow in color, a common trait found in any (not all) of the Braethas Raug dragons. Her crest, wings, tail fin, tail sails are all "sunset" in color, a rainbow of blue-purple-red-orange-yellow. These colors flow in that order from sail base or leading edge, to the back edge or tip, on her crest, sails, and the leading edge of her wing; the opposite is true on her tail fin. The tail fin itself is a remarkable Fionabhainn trait, with barbs or "fingers" (without joints) springing up at a parallel, with membranes in between. The overall appearance, when laying flat, is reminicent of a pinecone. Another trait of the Fionabhainn dragon is an individual's long horns, regardless of gender, prominent eye ridges, narrow muzzle, claws on the wingtip, elbow, and ankle joints, and the glorious crest.

° Attitude
Kovphaleiryth is a very mellow dragon: an even temper and an analytical mind coupled with a general amusement with the world. When approached with the possibility of joining in at Enzan Shi's Fiery Fall Festival Frenzy, she grinned draconically and said, Sounds like fun. Don't cross her however; like MeLi, and MeLi's father PatIrich for that matter, when that patience is lost, it's like a sleeping volcano come alive. O.o;
° Hobbies
Kovpha loves critters of all sizes, just as MelberLime does. She loves making them happy, and loves it when they crawl all over her. As long as it isn't Tekerinaereth deciding that Kovpha makes a wonderful body-pillow she can mangle in her sleep. ...then it's time for a bath... *evil grins* Kovphaleiryth likes playing the roll of "executioner," as does her bond. But with every misdeed goes a fitting punishment, and she abhorrs injustice. Many would find this difficult to understand. Does she enjoy seeing others in pain? Or does she enjoy the knowledge of a just punishment? The answer is both! Only when the punishment fits the crime, can one learn the scope of their mistake.

Here is a current "photo" of Kovpha in all of her gilded glory. An adult Starry, she easily towers over everyone else on Dopp-Rock, which might make you wonder how she could possibly fit within The Barn. But...such is the "magic" of rips in space-time. Heh heh.
