Hair
He has close-cropped straight dark-brown hair (nearly black) with a "tail" in back. Unless closely inspecting his hair, it looks like all of it is pulled back, but it's just short enough and he slicks it back a little, so that it looks that way.Eyes
His wide, slightly angled eyes are a pale, yellow-green color. His night vision, though he has rare occasion to use it, is excellent.Physique
At about 6'1" and of a sturdy build, Gato is muscular from long hours spent in the fields, his large hands muscular from the same strenuous work.Appearance
Gato's face is angular and slightly oval in shape, catlike overall, with prominent features and high cheekbones. His skin is dark from working long hours shirtless in the sun. He has a bad habit of not wearing a shirt (resulting in his very dark tan), but he normally wears black cottony pants and black leather lace-up boots or sandals.• Personality •
Additude
Gatoshnarel works best under pressure; solves problems with diligence, and even with force if necessary. He readily took on the “older twin” role, but would be very reluctant to lead others. He is one to keep to himself on matters of personal nature and is protective of family, both physically and verbally, especially regarding his mother, aunt, and brother.Hobbies
Gato rarely shows much of an interest in hobbies and other free time activities. He is always looking for something useful to do, and perhaps his favorite pasttime could be said to be keeping busy. When he finally does settle down, what he most enjoys to do is spend time with his firelizard, Qyzell, and twin-like brother Gerotaeo.• Family •

Red Uaillikenth of Ryslen, a medium-sized flame-red dragon, is pretty much the focus of Ga'rel's life, even above his younger brother G'taeo and his green flitter Qyzell. If Uaillikenth needs or wants something, he will leave everything behind, however reluctantly, to serve his dragon.Father
Manuen (pronounced like MAN-owen), a well-established farmer respected only for his excellent farming techniques, which he has since passed on to his son, Gato. His sleazy reputation with innocent young women such as Shola and Taynae has permanently ruined his chances at a happy marriage.Mother
Shola (pronounced like show-la), a sprightly yet shrewd farmer's daughter, was once taken advantage of by Manuen but not about to let circumstances dictate her future. With her keen intelligence she found a way to get ahead despite the cards life dealt her.Siblings
Half-brother and best friend, Gerotaeo (pronounced geh-rhoh-TAY-oh) has been Gato's constant companion since before they can remember. Even though they are about the same age, Gato has always been his timid brother's protector. They share a history that most people would not fully understand, and that among other things has brought them close together, to the point of seeming like twins.Extended Family
Gero's mother Taynae (pronounced tay-NAY-ee) is a thinker, one who provides the rock-like foundation that her friends and family can fall back on in times of need. Outwardly she seems confident and wise, while on the inside, and understood by her closest family members, she is more of a worrier to the point where sometimes she questions her own decisions. Over the years, Gero and Gato have become closer to their mothers, Taynae in particular.Pets
One firelizard, a Green named Qyzell (pronounced kai-zell): she is a yellowy-green color that matches Gato's eyes almost precisely. She is a silly little Green, not quite sarcastic in nature, but she does spend a lot of time razzing and receiving the same from her master. She is friendly, and often spends time visiting with Gerotaeo and his firelizard, and even with Shola or Taynae.
