Duties
Xerbith is like the glue that keeps his nidulus (weyr) together. He finds it his responsibility to console and give advice to others, especially his rider Gero, and to the girl Caké, though with her bonding to his daughter Sezjaiiz, Xerbith's role in her life has receded somewhat. The Yellow's strategies are always those of subleity, for empathy as well as telepathy runs strong within the walls of their rooms.

• Physical Description •
Eyes
Faceted, his eyes are without pupils but with many lenses that enhance his depth perception. He is capable of detecting (and therefore reacting to) movement much more quickly than a human. Instead of making him seem jumpy to people, if anything it makes him more relaxed, for he has more time to make decisions. The color of his eyes varies with his mood, in almost every color of the traditional color spectrum.
Physique
Medium-sized overall, Xerbith is nevertheless of a lighter build than Uaillikenth. He is more slender, and weaker throughout his forelimbs and shoulders, because the Red likes to dig holes. Xerbith's role is more passive, more of a councillor than a warrior, and it shows in his musculature. On the other hand, he has a determined streak and surprising stamina that, given enough time, can make up for his slowness in-flight.
Appearance
Lemony-yellow from knobbed head-to-toe, Xerbith is like a walking merangue pie. He has a slightly lighter coloring along his Ryslenesque crest and the membraneous tissues of his wings and tail spade, like lemon custard.

Additude
A major area of support for his rider in his simple trust and adoration of the young man, Xerbith has a soft mental-voice but a wealth of energy. He is never entirely rushed, even when events demand otherwise. Let Uaillikenth rush into a situation like a mad bull; Xerbith likes to hang back and assess a situation, always on the lookout for Plan B, should Uaillikenth, with or without his own plan, fail. Xerbith is very conscious of another's feelings, and will hesitate to ask of them something that would cause them pain. However, he will not let hurt feelings prevent him from getting what needs to be done, accomplished.
Hobbies
Xerbith simply loves to sit out in the sunshine. Is that not what many dragons love to do most? He loves to swim, be bathed, practice drills, or simply sleep in on a weekend remaining on his couch all morning. As long as he is with those he loves, he will go anywhere, do anything, regardless of how much it bothers him. Oh yes, and he loves mating flights, especially frenzies. They are downright fun!
