Vehya-ilaasu is from the future. The not-so-distant future to be semi-precise. She lives in a normal world with a pair of ultra-weird parents. One is human. One is a dragon. And she ... she's stuck in between. She's humanoid, with draconic features, and the ability to breed with either. She has decided that her best bet at a mate for life, so her mother counsels, is to bond with one, just as she did.

Yes. Once, nearly half a century ago (in other words present time), Vera bonded to her future mate. Along the way, Vera found support and partners in some of the most interesting, and unlikely of individuals. These were, at the time, events just beyond her understanding. But, as a freelance journalist, it was her job to learn and understand. And then write about it.
