Half-Ryslenese, half bipedal Dracanian dragon. His mother is a Light-Green from Nidus Ryslen, his father a pastel-colored Shinoku Dragonstake dragon from Cy Dragonstake's first Apocalypse clutch.

Qafevreos is medium-large, and uses every last pound of his weight to his advantage. He bonded Messel, not the other way around, so while the mediocre white-collar worker had hoped to go up in the world, Qafevreos certainly won't let him lead. He wears the pants in this household, thank-you-very-much, though should Messel grow himself a backbone, he'll be more than happy to take a back seat.

¤ Physical Description ¤

¤ Sails/scales
At first glance, Mud Brown-Black Qafevreos was not much to look at, just a brown dragon with mottlings of darker brown and black, like mud. Perhaps his silver-flamed "stockings" and face were invisible, who knows. (Messel's inserted bit of sarcasm here) But then he jumped, flaring his Molten-Red and Orange wings, and the crowd was awed. (Shouldn't they have been awed before? Again, who knows. Sarcasm courtesy of Qafevreos.)

¤ Eyes
Golden, with slitted pupils.

¤ Physique
Qafevreos is an impressive 43-feet long, from nose to tail, with a strength ratio of 8/10. Even moments after his hatching, he was able to drag Messel off the sands with little trouble.

¤ Appearance
Qafevreos has always been an impressive specimen, not only with is size and coloration. He is a bipedal dragon, and with his powerful back legs and strong tail looks like a dinosaur. And like the raptor variety, he has long digits on his forelimbs with thumbs giving him almost as much dexterity as a true hand. His wings are wide and long, and a pair of horns at the back of his head towering up behind him. He has a crest that runs down his neck, and a spadelike tip on his tail, both with the same magma-like colors as his wing sails.

¤ Personality ¤

¤ Attitude
Stubborn. Strong. Bold. These are all excellent descriptive words for Qafevreos' personality. Others that might come to mind include pushy, bull-headed, and hot-tempered. He is all of these, and more. It can be quite irritating to all when he pushes incessently to get his way (and he always does in the end), especially to his bond Messel, who will not hesitate to complain -- loudly. But Qafevreos has only the best intentions where Messel is concerned, and his bond knows it, whether he will admit it or not. He will never settle for "second best" and won't let Messel settle either. He insists that he knows what is best for his bond, and even if he has to drag him kicking and screaming, it will be good for him in the end.

¤ Likes and Dislikes
The one thing he hates most in the world is giving up, and the second most-hated thing would have to be cowards. Why then, did he bond with Messel, one might ask. The answer is that while he does hate these weaknesses, he has a very wonderful talent in seeing the best in people. He sensed that with Vera as well as Messel, which is why he pushes his cranky bond to extremes...why he must help him find his true potential. Like his bond, Qafevreos loves, or rather is attracted to, anything fire-related, from color and flames to creatures aligned to the element fire. And he's going to want to collect such things, encouraging Messel to wear reds and oranges and yellows, or perhaps bringing home a new pet every now and then. Nothing Messel couldn't handle, of course...

¤ Magic
Like many Ring of Fire dragons, Qafevreos has powers over magic, and at a 7/10, (leaning of course toward fire and heat), he is not someone to toy around with. More detail coming soon.
