T'ki comes from an isolated region where few humans outside his tribe live. His young sister became sick with a strange, lingering sickness that ended her life. It was then that he realized just how defenseless people really are against nature and began his experiments. Even at a young age, around 10 turns, his search for new herbs and brought him to "civilized" regions where he crossed paths with new interesting people.

At first, it was his lack of a language which kept him from conversing much, but as time wore on, his intelligence and young flexible mind allowed him to learn words spoken. He decided his stereotype of being "uncivilized" and illiterate would work to his advantage.

As he moved on, his search included gathering of knowledge in general, which brought him to many different places. He began to blend in with the masses, but his awful habit of staying just on the outside of conversation created a reputation for him as a recluse. And it did not help matters that he was young and had a large feline at his side…

Then around the age of 12, he was Searched and brought to DragonHope Weyr. He has no firelizards, as his opinion of them is rather low. "Useless and ridiculous," he calls them.
