Like his younger brother Zemaal, he is receiving basic healer training, but instead of leaning toward dragons, Zendrell is showing an affinity with the patients. As such, he is being groomed in the mental arts (psychology, etc.).

Same Weyr as Ilivilir and Pyotr, and his brother Zemaal, which is located in the far South.
• Physical Description •
• Hair
Zendrell has a thick shock of coppery hair that he likes to keep combed back over the crown of his head. It is very short in back and along the sides, longer (about three inches or so) on top. Often, his thick, straight hair falls in his eyes while he's working.
• Eyes
His eyes are a mixture of greenish and deep grey, with a playful, impish squint almost always present. His eyelashes are blond with a hint of copper-orange.
• Physique
Slight and small, but wiry and full of energy like a coiled spring. His skin has the hint of a buttery tan, and many freckles cross his nose and cheeks, and his shoulders.
• Clothing
Zendrell prefers to tuck his shirts of blue or green, into trousers of brown or deep grey. He has a favorite vest, of lightweight sueded leather, that he wears wherever he goes. He likes to wear boots regardless of where he is, inside or outside of the Weyr.

• Attitude
Intuitive and able to read body language, Zendrell is sensitive to one's feelings, especially for a boy his age. He knows when someone is suffering, even if they are adept at hiding their discomfort; all he needs is a little time with them to learn the signs. He is a quick study, and can get a good feel for a patient within minutes. Likewise, he can read a book twice and have an excellent grasp on the material.
• Hobbies
Zendrell likes to play little harmless pranks on his friends and little brother. No one is sure if it is an expression of affection, or if he does it to them because he knows he can get away with it.

Zendrell thinks his father is one of the healers back home, but no one can be sure. Perhaps it is only his hope that this is the case.
• Mother
The boys share the same mother, a greenrider named Commyna. She is a flake, and not much of a mother. In fact, both of her boys were weyr-raised, even though she had few enough responsibilities to care for at least one. Unfortunately, she did not want children, she simply likes to be pregnant, as some women do. The boys know they are siblings only because of their reddish hair and some of their physical features.

• Hide
Green, like a carefully manicured lawn, Oblacith's hide is almost solidly-colored, with a slightly more yellowish hue to her wingsails and throat skin; her crest is much darker, almost forest-green. She has very prominent head-knobs situated behind her eyes and pointing backward, probably due to her Vella Crean heritage.

Large and faceted like a dragonfly's, they change color to reflect her mood, though this rarely fluctuates while Z'dre is around. Generally they are either deeply blue, or orangey and full of mischief
• Physique
Small even for a Green, she was born to two small parents: a white and a blue. She is probably between what is normal for a Green and a White, though there are few of the latter to compare against!

• Attitude
Oblacith is frisky and mischievous almost to the extreme. It is easy to see that Z'dre will have his hands full trying to curb her over-exhuberence. Her idea of a prank is often more physical than clever, because she simply is not all that crafty. But she tries, and that is the most important part. She does everything to please her rider, though he doesn't always appreciate it - because of the results more than anything.
• Likes and Dislikes
Blaci really dislikes more than anything to bother with such trivialities as being neat and clean. She is more than happy to get down and dirty, literally! But she often forgets to clean up after herself. She enjoys the act of pulling a prank, and not the responsibilities of cleaning up afterwards. In this, she is just like a small child, though she may never completely grow out of it.
