Physical Description

Skin/hide/scales

Mentia has a deep yet vivid red coloring. Delicately encircling her ankles and the edges of her wing tines is a net-like marking in pinkish-purple. Her wing sails themselves are light-red.

Mentia is the size of a blue but tall and lightly-built. When in action, it gives her limbs a stilt-like appearance and one may, should they be from certain locales, almost hear a peculiar springing noise, and the word "pogo" may also come to mind. But that's all in your head, son. Her wings are long and narrow.

Darkling Dawn says:

Convinced that she needs to prove herself to others, Mentia tends to act a little crazy. She's a clown who likes to act silly to cheer others up, and she's perfected this happy mask so well that it's almost impossible to tell there's actually an intelligent, sensitive dragon inside.

This is true for all but her small circle of friends. She learned early on that life was uncertain and held fast to those around her. Being the youngest of the trio of dragons, she allowed herself to be the "baby" by asking questions and trusting them not to judge her for asking them. She allowed them to see that her silly antics were an expression of her nervousness. But now that she is free to spread her proverbial wings to the future in Dusana, she has taken more joy in acting silly for the sake of silliness. She has also decided to express that softer, intellectual side; how, though, she has yet to decide.
