If ever there was a dragon named appropriately, it is Dire. She is morose, moody, pessimistic, and quite liable to pronounce dire fates upon people around her, particularly herself, expecting the worst out of life in general. Her main comforts are the timeless Inari, who always manages to bring her out of the depths of depression and make her smile-and, of course, she adores the wonderful things he cooks!-and art, which she indulges in frequently and often messily.
