G*non was quickly remembering why he hated bipedras so much, not that he needed the reminder. One had decided that his leg was a tasty snack and G*non was suddenly very glad that he had worn full armor today. He glared down at the silver-crowned two-header and delivered a sharp kick to the hatchling. “Scat, you horrible creature,” he said as he kicked it again. “Go eat the candidates, not me!”
With a small growl the hatchling moved away from G*non, looking over the candidates until he had made his choice. Cheynoron suddenly felt a sharp pain in his leg. He too had the same red hydra chomping on him that had assaulted G*non. “Hey, knock it off!” he yelled as he kicked the bipedraling off. The bipedra lunged again but Cheynoron was ready for it. He sidestepped the oncoming hydra and grabbed him by the tail, lifting him off the hot black sands of Cy.
Let go of me you idiot! Snarled the bipedra. I’m trying to bond to you!
Cheynoron blinked. “Then why were you biting me?”
Because… The hatchling considered. Because I felt like it! He glared at Cheynoron malevolently until Cheynoron set him down with a laugh.
“Fair enough, Jujuliyth,” he chuckled as the bipedra stood up by his side.

The next three eggs hatched in a group, depositing three rather different dragons onto the sands. One was from Booyath and Crysion's clutch, a purple dragon with two heads. One looked very much like her granddam, Birana. She was a bipedal green with three heads and silver wings. She watched the candidates with an air of nobility. The last was a rather pretty one, a purpley blue with star marks, three heads, and a silver crown. The purple was the first to move.
He stomped right up to Vash and reached out to tear off part of his pant leg. In front of the astonished ex-dragonrider, the dragon tied the cloth around his head, making a make-shift bandanna. You got a problem with dat? asked the purple mentally.
Vash shook his head as the dragon stalked off. The dragon was near G*non when he caught a glimpse of himself in G*non's shiny armor. WHAT? I'M PURPLE! His eyes bugged out as he turned to look at his tail, his purple tail. What the hell is up with that? he yelled mentally as he flapped his purple wings. This sucks, I'm outta here. With a sweep of his tail the hatchling was gone, or at least would have been if Tenken hadn't grabbed his tail.
"Hey G*non! What should I do with it?" asked Tenken as the dragon strugled to be free.
"Just toss it near the food. If it doesn't want to bond thats its business."
Yeah I don't need no bond, growled the hatchling as he began to tear at the meat. I'm Gangstath and I don't need any of you fools.

Next hatched another dragon who would take no bond. The orange double-header announced himself as Rixth and pranced off to find himself food.

Everyone had been so busy watching this bonding that they barely noticed the next in time. Aquxianal found himself faced with a bipedra, green with a blue stomach and two heads. He wasted no time in announcing her name, Yatenth, and was just as quick at getting off the sands.

The number of eggs were quickly declining and the next one hatched the last of Daethynel's clutch. This was a night drak, two-headed and four-winged, dark hide contrasted by golden fur. She walked over to the candidates, eyes for only one.
Lilan, my name is Tioryarel.
